Marigold is coming up on its 1-year anniversary, and I wanted to properly introduce us!  We are located in St. Johns, Portland, Oregon.  Our vibe here is warm, welcoming, bright, and comfortable.  We want your hair salon experience to feel really good and fun and for you to love your hair and leave here feeling amazing.

We currently have 3 stylists- Sasha, Emily, and Jill.  Marigold is a host salon for independent beauty businesses, so prices vary from person to person.  You can check the stylists out here and see their specialties- which include but are not limited to tight curly cutting and styling, gender affirming haircuts, mullets, shags, and balayage.  All pricing is based on the service performed and is genderless.

We are committed to doing our part to protect the planet.  Because of this we use product lines with organic ingredients that are free of parabens and artificial fragrances that perform wonderfully on all hair types.  We also participate in Green Circle, which allows us to recycle up to 95% of our salon waste- this includes recycling hair clippings, foils, excess hair color, aerosol cans, and color tubes.

We love being here in St. Johns and look forward to what this coming year will bring!  Last year we volunteered at  the St. Johns Bizarre, the Cathedral Park Jazz Fest, the St. Johns Food Share, and opened up the salon for the St. Johns Art Walk- not to mention the amazing trick-or-treating event, the tree lighting ceremony, and the Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl.  This neighborhood has provided so many fun opportunities to join in on and we are so grateful to be part of this community.
